Paying homage to Stephen King’s Carrie and dark female coming-of-age films like, Heathers and Jawbreaker, Lucy’s Tale is sure to remind you of the horrors of growing up and the body insecurity that goes along with it. A suspenseful story about a girl who no doubt wishes to grow bigger boobs, finds herself growing something else and no amount of acne cream or blemish removal can help her. So while Lucy may just want to come into her womanhood, she also comes into her evilness.

My journey into filmmaking began with Lucy’s Tale, where I served as creative producer. Drawing from my background in entertainment, fashion, and beauty, I combined my expertise in production and art direction to craft the film's captivating visual world for Chelsea Lupkin's story. I also worked to assemble an exceptional team of talent to help execute the vision.

Lucy’s Tale is now an award-winning short genre film which had its World Premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival, one of the biggest genre film festivals in the world, showcasing science fiction, horror, and fantasy. After its U.S. Premiere at the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival in October 2018, it went on to screen at a number of fests before its release online in the summer of 2019 on Gunpowder & Sky’s horror platform, ALTER, where it has been viewed over 6 million times. Currently, I am collaborating with Chelsea Lupkin to adapt this short into a feature film.
